Standard Glock/Weaver Style

Our Tactical Light Mount Kits fit ALL MODELS of our Mini-Scout-Mounts. These handy accessories enable the quick attachment of tactical flashlights, lasers, and other accessories. They can be configured for both right or left-handed shooters and are easily adapted for use in a wide range of applications on other firearms.

 All of our Tactical Light Mount Kits are precision machined of A356 (the same alloy as 6061 T6 Aluminum), and finished in a black sealed anodize.  All kits come with the screws and tool needed for installation.

The Glock/Weaver and 1913 Picatinny models are 2.0 inches long and secured by two 8-32 screws.  The 1913 Picatinny LONG model is 3.95 inches in length, features a full-length Mil-Std 1913 Picatinny rail and is secured by five 8-32 screws. 

1913 Picatinny Short 2.0

The 1913 Picatinny Short 2.0 model is 2.0 inches long and secured by two 8-32 screws.

1913 Picatinny Long 3.95

The 1913 Picatinny LONG model is 3.95 inches in length, features a full-length Mil-Std 1913 Picatinny rail and is secured by five 8-32 screws.

STEP #1 ****BE POSITIVE THAT YOUR RIFLE IS NOT LOADED!****

• Treat ALL guns as if they are LOADED.
• NEVER let the muzzle point at anything you are not willing to destroy.
• Keep your finger OFF the trigger.
• REMOVE the magazine completely and set it aside.
• PULL the operating rod completely to the REAR and CHECK the chamber and make SURE it is empty.
• Work the operating rod several times and check the chamber AGAIN to make sure it is EMPTY.

• With the Mini-Scout-Mount™ installed, hold the rifle in your normal shooting position and note the location of your thumb on the fore end of the stock. This is where the best natural access the to the flashlight’s controls should be located.
• Position the "Rail" along the Mount Body so that the controls of your flashlight is where your support hand thumb would be. The "Rail" can be mounted on either the side of the Mini-Scout-Mount™ Body to accommodate Right or Left-handed shooters.
• Note the location of the two screw holes in the Mount Body that most closely match the two screw holes in the Rail.

• Place the rifle on a flat and sturdy table or bench surface with the side of the Mount Body facing up where the Rail will attach.
• Position the Rail over the two mounting screw holes noted above.
• Start the two bevel-based screws (provided) into the threaded holes in the Mount Body using the hex wrench (provided).
• Use the hex wrench provided to snug down the Rail to the Mount Body by evenly tightening the two screws.

• Attach your tactical flashlight to the Rail and check to see that it snaps securely into place.
• Check the position of the light to ensure that its controls are within reach of your thumb when you are in a natural shooting position.
• Check the function of the flashlight while mounted to ensure that it works properly.
• Practice removing and attaching the flashlight to the rail to become comfortable and smooth with the operation.
• If you install a tactical sight system or scope first, check to insure that it Does not interfere with attaching the flashlight to the Rail.
• If you still have a problem with the fit or function, give us a call or email.

• Larger flashlights can be secured with scope rings and using two kits installed end-to-end or the 1913 Picatinny LONG model.
• A drop of thread locker on each of the screws is a good idea, but not really necessary.
• If you purchased the STANDARD model (Glock/Weaver style) and your laser or flashlight will not seat down on the rail, you need the 1913 Picatinny style kit.
